Naval Meetings
What is the Naval Meetings?
The Naval Meeting is the International Business Convention on innovation in naval and nautical industries, a major event in the Aquitaine region that takes place every 2 years. It is the preferred meeting place for many contractors and subcontractors where numerous projects are envisioned and signed.
At the Bordeaux Congress Center
The naval sector is very powerful in the region, and the choice of the city of Bordeaux to host this event is not coincidental. Indeed, Bordeaux is the prefecture of a department that employs, on its own, more than 1600 jobs in the sector, while the region counts about 700 companies in the same field.
So, Bordeaux was the ideal place for this international business meeting!
The 3rd edition of Naval Meetings
After successful editions in 2009 and 2011, Naval Meetings is growing larger over the years. The Bordeaux Convention will be conducive to business with the new promising markets in the sector, such as the Dutch, Turkish, and Russian markets.
In 2013, the sponsor of Naval Meetings is well known to nautical enthusiasts, as it is Lalou Roucayrol, an outstanding sailor who will participate in the Transat Jacques Vabre 2013 and the next Route du Rhum in 2014, his main goal aboard a brand new Multihull 50'. This local sailor (born in Médoc) is therefore the perfect ambassador for this new edition of Naval Meetings.
