At Brit Hotel Bordeaux Aéroport, we place social and environmental responsibility at the heart of our business. Faithful to the values of Brit Hotel and committed to sustainable development, we are taking concrete action to reduce our environmental impact, guarantee a responsible quality of service and provide good working conditions for our staff.

We are committed to involving our teams and partners in a responsible approach, respecting Brit Hotel's values and adopting ethical and sustainable practices. We encourage collaboration with local and responsible suppliers and make our staff aware of good environmental practices.
Reducing our
environmental footprint
We are implementing measures to minimise our consumption of resources and limit our ecological impact:
Responsible consumption:
- All our cleaning products are ecological or Eco label certified.
- We use recycled and Ecolabel toilet paper.
- Our stationery is made from recycled paper.
Energy and water management:
- Installation of card-operated switches to save energy.
- Use of water-saving devices in all rooms, such as aerators and low-flow shower heads.
- Replacement of light bulbs with low-energy models.
- Putting up a display in the bathroom to raise awareness of the importance of washing clothes.
- Manual switch-off of heating and air conditioning in rooms from 11am to 4pm every day. When they are turned back on, they are automatically programmed to be at 19°C in winter, and the air conditioners at 26°C in summer. This procedure ensures that unoccupied rooms remain switched off.
Waste management and recycling:
- Use of shampoo/shower gel dispensers to reduce packaging in rooms.
- Installation of selective sorting in common areas.
- Recovery and recycling of batteries, light bulbs, glass and cardboard.
- Limit single-use packaging at breakfast.


Responsible customer experience
and quality of service
We want to offer our guests a pleasant stay while involving them in our eco-responsible approach:
- We favour short circuits and offer regional and local products at breakfast and on our restaurant menu. These are highlighted and always identifiable for our guests.
- 80% of the bar menu is made up of local products.
- Our customers are invited to adopt simple gestures to reduce their impact (switching off lights, using water responsibly, sorting waste, etc.).
- A mobile application replaces paper documents in the rooms to limit printing.
- We offer environmentally-friendly activities: bike tours, nature walks, climbing, guided outings to discover the local biodiversity.
- For stays of more than one night, guests can choose not to have their rooms cleaned.
